Daphne

Creating a custom portrait of Daphne was one of the best experiences I have had in art.
My first lesson was when her owner reached out to ask about a portrait. I had not considered she had passed away, or that she was visually impaired. It taught me the value of sensitivity and good communication. As daunting as it felt to create artwork worthy of her, the process was amazing. I felt I got to know Daphne, and love feeling so connected to her. I see the love, and noble dignity shining through. Through Daphne, I realised the value of memorial art for grieving pet owners.
