My lawful basis for collecting and using your data is legitimate interests. The personal information I collect is essential for providing my services and managing my business. My legitimate interests include:

  • Communication: To communicate with you regarding your inquiry, commission, or delivery.

  • Fulfilling Your Order: To securely store photos of your pet for the sole purpose of creating your artwork and to collect delivery details to fulfill your order.

  • Marketing and Analytics: To promote my artwork (with your consent) and to improve your experience on my website through the use of third-party services like Google Analytics.

I do not sell your personal data to any third-party companies.

How I Use and Protect Your Photos

I understand that the photos you send me are personal and valuable. I want you to feel completely confident in my process.

  • For Artwork Creation: Photos are used exclusively for creating your commissioned portrait.

  • For Marketing: I will never share your photos or the final artwork on social media or for any other marketing purpose without your explicit permission. I will contact you directly to ask for your consent first.

  • Secure Storage and Deletion: Client photos are stored on secure cloud storage. I will permanently delete your photos after a specific period, but you can request that your photos be deleted at any time by contacting me directly.

Who I Share Information With

I share your personal information with third parties only when it is essential to provide my services.

  • Courier Services: I share your name and delivery address with courier companies (e.g., Royal Mail) to ship your final artwork.

  • Google Services: I use Google as a third-party service provider to host my email, client photo uploads (Google Drive), and website analytics.

  • Social Media: I may share content on social media with your explicit consent.

  • Employees or Contractors: If necessary, I may share postal details with a contracted assistant to help with shipping orders.

Payments

Payments are made through bank transfer or PayPal. I do not store your bank or card details as a normal part of my service. Please do not send me your banking or card information via email or social media messages. In the event I need to issue a refund, I will arrange a secure method of doing so with you directly.

Sharing Information Outside the UK

Your personal information may be transferred outside the UK when using third-party services. Google, for example, is a US-based company. I ensure that these transfers comply with UK data protection law by using a legal mechanism called the Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
